BEST MOVIES OF 2020 SO FAR!

Well, ever since Covid19 broke out earlier this year, most of us just have to stay at home and try to make the most of our short life by doing the things we love like reading books, surfing the internet, playing online games, cleaning and organizing, eating and sleeping, watching movies and hanging out with our family.

Fortunately, Netflix and others have tons of reserved movies for this pandemic.

These are the best movies I've seen so far this year. I've seen other movies that were pretty old but I'm only listing the best movies that came out this year.

Yoko Kurama

I was in grade school when I fell in love with "Yu Yu Hakusho" series. I followed every episode on a local TV channel (GMA) aka "Ghost Fighter" in the Philippines and was dubbed in Filipino.

I was always so excited to come home from school to catch the series at 5 pm and sit down with my friends at my neighbor's house. We didn't have a functioning TV at home and oftentimes we had no electricity cuz we couldn't afford to fully pay the electric bill.

"Yoko Kurama" (aka Dennis) has always been my ULTIMATE FAVORITE among the 4 characters. I just love his botanical powers especially his "Rose Whip". And I love it when he transforms into a gorgeous albino wolf man.

As an adult, I'm still a huge fan of Yu Yu Hakusho. AND I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON YOKO KURAMA!!!😍😍😍

I found this Yoko Kurama vinyl figure on Amazon and I am just so in love with it. I wish I could buy it but it's too darn expensive.

Happy Birthday, Mama Mary!

Born and raised a Roman Catholic, my family and I watched the movie "Fatima" starring Stephanie Gil as Lucia. All the actors in the movie look unfamiliar to me but Stephanie Gil really stood out. I have never really read about the Virgin Mary Of Fatima before (its history), I only learned that it happened in Fatima, Portugal upon watching the movie. It was a very beautiful, very heartwarming and inspiring. And being a Catholic, I do believe in miracles and of course I believe in God and eveything. But I'm just not very religious. I'm not the type who goes to church every Sunday, no disrespect. But I always visit the church every year on my birthday. And I always pray everyday, especially before bedtime.

Also, it's my cousin's son's 5th birthday today so I wish him a very happy birthday, good health and wisdom.

Mulan (2020)

I'm no fan of Disney but it was a very good movie nonetheless. I watched it primarily because my idol Christina Aguilera has 2 soundtracks for it, hehe... It was action-packed and I only learned that it was Jet Li who played the Emperor. Gosh, he's gotten really old since The Expendables. He was barely recognizable in the movie.
